Ruckle Earns Cal Pac Defender of the Week

For the second time in three weeks, Embry-Riddle women's soccer goalkeeper Annabelle Ruckle has been named the Cal Pac Defender of the Week. Ruckle was a key piece in the 19th-ranked Eagles' undefeated start to conference play.

Ruckle made three saves in the two contests as she picked up her second and third consecutive shutout victories on Friday and Sunday, respectively. Ruckle has not allowed a goal since the season-opening game, going six straight contests without a ball getting past the goal line.

The Eagles currently have a 567:36 shutout streak rolling, and Ruckle has been in the net for all but 45 minutes of it. Ruckle has recorded 13 saves over the six-game stretch as well, including making six against College of Idaho on September 11.

Ruckle and the Eagles are back in action again this week, as they travel to Southern California for a pair of games. The trip starts with a match against Soka on Thursday, with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
